Strictly Come Dancing viewers shared they were "in tears" as Annabel Croft paid tribute to her late husband Mel in her routine during the seventh week of the show.

Croft, who is a former professional tennis player, is partnered up with Johannes Radebe on the show.

In the pre-recorded segment before the dance, it showed Annabel talking with her children about her late husband Mel who passed away from stomach cancer in May.

She and Johannes danced to 'Wings' by Birdy for their Couples Choice routine, and performed an emotional routine.

Fans took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to express their love for the routine on the show and how it paid tribute to Mel.

One person shared: "Okay, Annabelle has got me in tears. She is clearly still grieving so badly, poor lady."

Another said: "Very beautiful from start to finish. Very emotive and Annabelle’s story was told in a stunningly beautiful way."

Meanwhile, one person said: "Wow wow wow, Annabelle and Johannes, that was so beautiful."
