DIY SOS star Nick Knowles is reportedly ‘incredibly upset’ after an injury has put his future on Strictly Come Dancing in doubt.

The 62-year-old was seen wearing a sling over his arm while in London this morning after hurting his arm while changing a car tyre yesterday, per reports

Nick is being assessed by a doctor before meeting with BBC bosses about whether he’s fit to compete with partner Luba Mushtuck on Saturday.

A source said the TV presenter is upset over the prospect of not being able to perform in the live shows and concerned about being forced to pull out which would be his ‘worst nightmare.’

A source told The Sun: "It may be possible that he could just miss this weekend and return during the following show but it all hangs on whether the BBC will allow him to do it.

"Nick knows that he needs to give himself time to recover and that means he won’t be able to train properly with Luba.

"Having to pull out is Nick’s worst nightmare and he’s incredibly upset."

Strictly Come Dancing

On Saturday, fans were treated to Nick Knowles getting a birthday cake to the face almost immediately, but arguably the biggest star of the show was Chris McCausland.

McCausland made history as the first-ever blind contestant on Strictly Come Dancing.

And he stood out above all else.

One viewer said: "100% more co-ordination than me. Legend".

"The amount I've screamed out of pure joy watching @chrismccausland dance!!! I AM OBSESSED. INCREDIBLE WORK DIANNE!!!"

Another said: "Just give Chris McCausland the glitterball now. How is that even possible!"
