WE looked back at school trips across Cumbria in our latest edition of nostalgia.
Whether you were taking a trip abroad to places like France, Holland, Germany or even further afield, or you perhaps you went up the road to Scotland, or down the road further into the Lakes, everyone shares fond memories of their school trips.
Here are the memories our readers shared.
Arkle Bell said at the end of junior school, he visited Denton Holme, went to Newcastle and Tynemouth, had a trip on the Tyne, and went to Hadrian's Wall and Lanercost Priory.
Simon Gypsy Bathie said he went to the Yorkshire Agricultural Show in Harrogate and the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo.
Aleasha Wallace visited Ireland on a school trip, and Elaine Tweddle said: "I can remember going to Blackpool mainly because I got lost."
Joan Pallister visited Holy Island and the Farne Islands, and Samantha Ann visited Amsterdam.
Diane Law went to Hadrian's Wall and several readers including Alison Rumney and Christopher Lavery went to La'al Ratty, otherwise known as Ravenglass and Eskdale Railway.
Alison Rumney also went to Lightwater Valley.
