WE shared the news that a new event is promising to deliver all the fun of clubbing with a daytime twist.
Early Doors Day Clubbing is set to take place on Saturday, May 25, at Carlisle's Old Fire Station, offering a unique experience aimed at the over-30s crowd.
Here's what readers thought.
Emma Short said: "Vicky Mclure, the actress, started this idea down south and it really took off. Pleased this has been organised, brilliant idea."
Stacey Kidd echoed her thoughts, saying: "This is a great idea."
Kayleigh Hunter said: "This would be good probably still won't roll in at a decent time though," and Jenna Taylor tagged Michael Irvine, saying: "We could still be home and in bed with a brew by 9pm."
Many other readers were eager to try the new experience.
One web user said: "You do not need to have been born to enjoy the music of those decades. I was barely alive when The Beatles ended or Elvis died but I still love their music. This event is gonna be amazing, who doesn't want to have a great day out dancing to all the biggest hits of those decades. I can't wait."
Attendees can dance the afternoon away from 2pm to 8pm to the sounds of classic hits from the 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s, courtesy of a live band and DJs, making it a perfect opportunity for those who want to be home and tucked up in bed come 9pm.
