WE shared the news that The Bridge End Inn has been nominated by News & Star readers as one of the ten finalists in its 'Best Pub 2024' award.

We're highlighting the shortlisted pubs in our competition in the News & Star. Each of the establishments will be featured in the following issues.

The pub is located in Dalston and has been run by manager Conor Dorrington since 2020 and is owned by Ian and Julie Brown who took over in 2012.

Our readers congratulated The Bridge End Inn on their success.

David Midgley said: "Went last night and the place was very busy. We hadn't pre-booked, but the guy in charge made us very welcome and we received great service."

Julie Musgrave said: "Well deserved! Cracking pub and lovely friendly staff."

Ronnie Bellas added the pub serves 'great food', while David Watson and Charlie Troüghear also praised the pub.

Scott Mcpherson commented: "Although I want the Graham Arms Inn to win, The Bridge End Inn Dalston is a great wee pub and Sunday lunch is fabulous."
