Workington Comets face a reunion with former captain Craig Cook when they tackle Glasgow in the SGB Championship play-offs.
Comets will take on the Tigers home and away in the semi-finals after Peterborough, who were given their pick of the play-offs teams by virtue of finishing top of the league table, elected to face Lakeside.
Glasgow have been a force in the division since Cook, who is riding in the Speedway Grand Prix series this year, decided to join his former club Edinburgh's fierce rivals mid-season.
But Workington have already beaten the Scottish side home and away this season so will go into the two-legged clash knowing they are capable of reaching the final for the first time.
Dates for the play-offs meetings are yet to be confirmed.
