Two second-year youth team players have been offered professional contracts by Carlisle United.
Josh Dixon and Keighran Kerr, both attack-minded players, have been tabled senior deals at Brunton Park.
Five of their youth team colleagues, though, are set to be released.
Liam Brickbank, Ceiran Casson, Jay Kelly, Belchior Papa and Regan Ward will leave the club at the end of their scholarships with the Blues.
But there is positive news for Dixon, 18, who has battled back from a cruciate ligament injury and will take his place with the senior squad on their return for pre-season alongside Kerr. Kerr, who turns 19 in June, had his first taste of the first-team environment at United when he took a place on the bench for Saturday's 3-0 defeat at Stevenage.
Youth players Liam McCarron and Jarrad Branthwaite have already signed professional terms this season.
The length of the contracts offered to Dixon and Kerr are yet to be confirmed.
