Carlisle United youngster Taylor Charters has joined Workington Reds on a month's loan.
The west Cumbrian midfielder has linked up with former Blues skipper Danny Grainger at Borough Park.
Charters, 18, recently signed a two-year professional deal with United and is awaiting his first senior outing, having been on the bench this season.
He is in the second year of his scholarship at Brunton Park and has also featured in reserve games this campaign.
He will now get the chance of first-team football under Grainger with the BetVictor Northern Premier League’s North West Division leaders.
Charters is likely to feature when Reds host ninth-placed Brighouse Town on Saturday.
Reds boss Grainger said: "I think he is a fantastic talent and has a great attitude and I’m looking forward to seeing him on the pitch.
"He is a player I have seen develop over the last couple of seasons and I think he can have a big impact with us."
