A host of Cumbrian fighters were in action at Carlisle-based Unit 5 Muay Thai And Boxing Sports Centre’s home show, held at the Shepherd’s Inn.
There was a stacked 14-bout card for the event, held on November 23, with fighters from as far away as Barcelona involved.
The night began with Ben Harkness, 13, taking part in a demonstration bout, with his opponent dropping out a couple of days before the show.
Next up was 11-year-old Ashton Rotherham, making his debut. He fought well, but narrowly lost his contest.
Tyler Young then competed in the next competitive outing. He continued his recent winning streak as he won unanimously on points.
Newly-crowned 2019 WTKA [World Traditional Kickboxing Association] world champion Ruby Armstrong was next into the ring, beating Elise Pannifer from Northumberland Muay Thai.
Then, on the adults card, three from Unit 5 Muay Thai And Boxing Sports Centre competed.
Brad Allan won, while Jodie Ritson suffered a defeat. And, in the final contest of the night, Jake Allen won every round to beat Spain’s Manuel Fedi Garcia.
