Carlisle United head coach Chris Beech has revealed “a couple” of players are injury doubts for the side’s League Two derby at Morecambe this weekend.
Beech would not name the individuals but, at today's press conference, he said: “Without going too deep into it, and giving too much away, we have had a couple of knocks.
"It’s Thursday today, there are 48 hours yet [before the game]. Hopefully, one or two can train tomorrow.”
But 17-year-old defender Jarrad Branthwaite, who missed out at Forest Green last weekend because of a virus, should be fit to return on Saturday.
Beech said: “Well, he’s a Rolls-Royce, Jarrad, isn’t he?
“Sometimes, they break down, don’t they? But he’s fixed.”
