A group of young Carlisle swimmers swept up at the recent County Swimming Championships, held at Workington Leisure Centre.
Young swimmers from all across the region took part in the event, with various age groups between 10 and 16-years-old.
The group of swimmers representing Carlisle Aquatics Club picked up a fantastic haul of 68 medals in all, including 35 golds, 17 silvers and 16 bronzes.
The swimmers meet up regularly for sessions at The Pools on James Street, and are guided by a number of volunteers - some of which are former full-time swimming coaches.
The club is hoping to attract more swimmers to join them, with a specific goal of getting children in the city active with an emphasis on having fun.
A spokesperson for Carlisle Aquatics said: "So many kids nowadays spend their leisure time indoors on games consoles, mobile phones and computers.
"We want to get them to put YouTube and Fortnite away for a few hours a week, and join our club, where they will make new friends, and get some real benefit from exercise too."
The club offers three, free one-hour sessions for anyone interested in joining, with only basic swimming skills needed.
