A second Carlisle United player has earned an international call-up.
Striker Joshua Kayode has been named in Jim Crawford's Republic of Ireland's Under-21 squad for their UEFA European Championship qualifier against Italy later this month.
Kayode will be hoping to figure in the game on Tuesday, October 13.
The Rotherham loan man grew up in Blanchardstown, Dublin, after his family moved to Ireland when Nigeria-born Kayode was a year old.
He moved to England to join Rotherham in 2017 and this summer returned to Carlisle for a second loan spell.
United will be hoping not to lose Kayode for any of their forthcoming games, with the Blues not in action on October 13. They go to Port Vale in League Two three days before.
Kayode's call-up follows news that loan keeper Marcus Dewhurst has been named in the England Under-20 squad for a training camp next week and a game against Wales, also on October 13.
