Swim star Luke Greenbank has been back in action for London Roar as the International Swimming League returned with the opening match in Budapest.
Greenbank, of Great Broughton, pitted his wits against some of the leading swimmers, as he placed third for Roar in the men’s 200m backstroke race that saw the top three athletes separated by a mere 0.1 seconds after 150m.
In the end the win went to Greenbank's London team-mate Christian Diener in 1:49.51 with DC Trident's Jacob Pebley separating the two Roar stars and Greenbank finishing in 1:50.91.
The ISL sees some of the world's top swimmers compete for one of 10 franchises in a battle to score points to see their side reach a grand final.
London Roar, which also features top swimmers including Britain's Adam Peaty, held a commanding 97-point lead after the first day of competition.
They were going up against DC Trident, Aqua Centurions and Team Iron in this match
