Teenage winger Lewis Bell has returned to training at Carlisle United after a long spell out with Covid-19.
The promising player is finally back at the club having been sidelined for several weeks with the virus.
The 18-year-old will gradually work on his fitness before returning to full involvement on the training pitch.
Head coach Chris Beech said: “He’s having a week in the gym at the ground.
“He’s now coming to work, but [that’s] part of the process of recovery.”
Youth team star Bell has been the worst-hit of the various Blues players who tested positive for the virus last month.
While others affected by Covid have since returned, Bell has required a longer period away from Brunton Park.
Beech said the young Cumbrian had “found it hard” but is now looking forward to working with the highly-rated teenager again.
Bell has made three first-team appearances this season as well as being a key player for Eric Kinder’s Under-18 side.
