Former Carlisle United goalkeeper and coach Tony Caig has left his role in the Scottish Premiership.
The ex-Blues and Workington Reds man has stepped away from his goalkeeping coach position with Livingston.
The club said 47-year-old Cumbrian Caig is leaving "to focus on developing his existing role within the goalkeeping department at the Scottish FA".
It ends a stint of more than three years with the Almondvale club, which also included a spell as joint caretaker manager.
Cleator Moor's Caig said on Livingston's website: “I’ve thoroughly enjoyed the three-and-a half years I’ve been involved as goalkeeping coach with Livingston FC.
“It’s been a fantastic journey from gaining promotion to the Premiership, reaching the Betfred Cup Final and back-to-back top-six finishes which shows just how far the club has come in that space of time.
“I’ve made some great friends at the club along the way - coaching staff, the various people behind the scenes and of course the different keepers and players I’ve had the pleasure to work with.
“I wish nothing but the best of luck to club going forward next season and beyond.”
Assistant manager Liam Fox has also left Livingston, whose squad includes ex-Carlisle striker Gavin Reilly.
Manager David Martindale added: “I just want to wish Caigy and Foxy all the best going forward. Both have been fantastic for the club and myself during their tenure.
“It’s not easy replacing such important staff but both go with all our best wishes. Both are moving onto roles which are enhancing their careers.”
Caig started his playing career with United and played a central part in their mid-1990s successes.
He later had spells with clubs including Blackpool, Charlton Hibernian, Newcastle, Vancouver Whitecaps, Gretna, Houston Dynamo and Workington.
He later returned to Brunton Park in a player-coach capacity and was also briefly joint caretaker boss alongside Paul Thirlwell after Graham Kavanagh's sacking in 2014.
He went on to have coaching spells with Hartlepool, Newcastle and Bury before his move north of the border.
As well as his roles as a goalkeeping coach, tutor and scout in the Scottish FA, with whom he has been involved for three years, Caig is also involved with the Sells Pro Training business, running coaching courses in Cumbria.
