Cumbrian motorsport star Frank Bird is set to compete in two events in three days over the Bank Holiday weekend.
21-year-old Bird is set to take appear in both France and the UK in two different disciplines over the course of the long weekend.
Firstly, at Circuit Paul Ricard, the youngster is set to resume his Fanatec GT World Challenge Europe Powered by AWS Silver Cup campaign as he enters the mammoth 1000km six-hour race alongside Ryuichiro Tomita and Valdemar Eriksen in the Team WRT Audi R8 LMS GT3.
Afterwards, Bird will race back to the UK on Sunday afternoon and head for the Oulton Park circuit in Cheshire ahead of Bank Holiday Monday's opening round of the British Rally Championship.
Driving a M-Sport Ford Fiesta Rally2, Bird and Lake District-based co-driver Jack Morton will tackle the Neil Howard Memorial Stages Rally, which also doubles up as a round of the Motorsport News Circuit Rally Championship with MSVR, which the pair currently lead.
"It’s going to be a busy weekend for sure but hopefully we can get some good results at both events," said Bird ahead of the weekend.
"I’m really looking forward to the Circuit Paul Ricard 1000km race over six hours along with my teammates.
"The plan is to challenge for the Silver Cup win and to continue our good run so far.
"Then it will be good to take another step forward at Oulton Park into the BRC for the first time, but the level of competition is immense. I`ll still be learning, but I’m excited to see how we get on.”
