Keith Curle has been reunited with former Carlisle United striker Hallam Hope at Oldham.
The ex-Blues boss has snapped up the frontman at Boundary Park on a one-year deal with an option.
It follows Hope's end-of-season departure from Swindon.
The deal will see Curle again working with a player he famously said he had "chased harder than anyone in my life - ex-wife, ex-partner and current girlfriend included".
It will also pit Hope against the Cumbrians in the 2021/22 League Two season, whose fixtures are announced on Thursday morning.
Hope said he was looking forward to working with Curle again, while the manager said on the Latics website: “I’ve worked with Hallam previously and it went well.
"There’s a genuine respect and excitement at what he can achieve at this club and knows he’s come in to add that experience in attack we need.
The striker has recently returned from international duty with Barbados and is spending a period of isolation before linking up with the Oldham squad.
The frontman scored 31 goals in 123 appearances for Carlisle from 2015-9 before being sold to Swindon in the January 2020 transfer window.
