Former Carlisle United star Brad Potts has extended his stay in the Championship with Preston.
The 27-year-old has agreed a new deal which now runs until the summer of 2024.
It sees the ex-Blues midfield man prolong his spell at Deepdale having joined the club from Barnsley in 2019.
That followed successive two-year stints with the Tykes and Blackpool, after former Blues youth product Potts left Carlisle for Bloomfield Road in the summer of 2015.
Potts said he was "delighted" with his new deal and said: “I love it here. I feel at home.
"It’s probably been a bit up and down in terms of playing and getting a proper run and momentum for myself, but the staff and players know what I’m about and when I do play I always give 100 per cent so I’m just happy to be staying here.”
Potts has made 99 appearances for Preston.
The Hexham native clocked up 118 Carlisle appearances and scored 10 goals for the Brunton Park club.
