Former Carlisle United star Liam McCarron's progress at Leeds United has been rewarded with a new two-year deal.
The ex-Blues winger has agreed new terms keeping him at the Premier League club until 2023.
McCarron has broken into Marcelo Bielsa's first-team squad this season and has been on the bench in recent Premier League games.
It comes two years after the 20-year-old left Brunton Park for the Elland Road club.
McCarron has been working his way up the pecking order with appearances for Leeds' Under-23s.

He has been deployed at left-back recently, with his displays catching the eye of Bielsa, who involved the Appleby prospect in pre-season games before promoting him to his top-flight squad.
McCarron joined Leeds in the same summer as another United prospect, Josh Galloway, who is yet to make a similar breakthrough at Elland Road.
Scotland Under-21 international McCarron made 20 first-team appearances for Carlisle in the 2018-19 season before being sold to the Yorkshire club.
