It's a far cry from his forgettable half-season in Carlisle United colours.
But the remarkable goalscoring form of Morecambe's Cole Stockton shows no sign of slowing down.
The ex-Blues man has now hit 10 goals in 11 appearances for the League One Shrimps this season.
That makes him the top scorer in EUROPE - ahead of the likes of Borussia Dortmund's Erling Haaland, Real Madrid's Karim Benzema and Bayern Munich's Robert Lewandowski in their respective domestic competitions.
Stockton moved to double figures with a brace in Saturday's 3-3 draw with Accrington Stanley, scoring past the visitors' Cumbrian Manchester City loan goalkeeper James Trafford.
It left newly-promoted Morecambe 16th in their first season in the third tier.
And it is quite the contrast to Stockton's underwhelming time in Cumbria, when he managed one goal in 12 appearances in the 2017/18 season before moving on to Tranmere.
He joined Morecambe for a third spell in the summer of 2019 and is currently the EFL's leading marksman.
Manager Stephen Robinson said: “I think he can be better, he is brilliant and we will keep driving him, don’t ever be happy with what you’ve done - he gets chances and he scores.
“He can do even more, he can score even more and he can get in behind even more, so I won’t leave him alone until I get the finished article."
