A former Carlisle United player was in charge of one of the sides who pulled off an FA Cup first round upset this weekend.
Ex-Blues midfielder Russell Penn, who was with United in the 2016/17 season, steered his Kidderminster Harriers side to a 1-0 win over Grimsby.
The game saw Penn's National League North side get the better of the Mariners, who are second in the division above.
Ashley Hemmings' penalty, which beat Grimsby's ex-Blues goalkeeper Max Crocombe, saw the Aggborough club into Monday's second round draw.
Other former United players were on target in first round action.
Offrande Zanzala was among the scorers as Barrow earned a 4-0 televised win over Banbury United.
Scunthorpe's Ryan Loft, though, scored at the wrong end as his own-goal in Keith Hill's first game in charge gave Doncaster a 1-0 win.
Adam Campbell got the first goal for National League North side Gateshead but they were denied an upset by a stoppage-time goal by National League visitors Altrincham, who forced a 2-2 draw.
Mark Cullen was among the scorers for Hartlepool as they drew 2-2 with Wycombe.
Joe Garner's goal for Fleetwood, meanwhile, was in vain as they were knocked out thanks to a 2-1 defeat to Burton.
