Shrewsbury Town's reward for beating Carlisle United in the FA Cup is a dream trip to Anfield to take on Liverpool.
The League One club, who won 2-1 at Brunton Park on Saturday, pulled the six-time European champions out of the hat in the third round draw.
It is a case of what might have been for the Cumbrians as Steve Cotterill's side can now look forward to a money-spinning date on Merseyside in January.
The tie will give Shrewsbury's Cumbrian ex-United striker Ryan Bowman the chance to go up against Jurgen Klopp's stars including Virgil Van Dijk, Alisson, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Jordan Henderson.
Liverpool, who have won the FA Cup seven times, will be without Mo Salah, Sadio Mane and Naby Keita for the tie against the Shrews as they will be involved in the African Cup of Nations.
Carlisle-born Bowman hit the winner against his former club on Saturday, with Shrewsbury's ball number 60 then coming out early in the draw conducted by David Seaman and Faye White.
The third round games will be played on the weekend of January 8.
The Blues are now likely to have a free weekend then, with scheduled league opponents Hartlepool still in the cup and at home to Blackpool in the third round.
Other notable ties include a trip to Chelsea for National League side Chesterfield, who knocked Salford City out in the second round.
Non-league Kidderminster Harriers, managed by ex-Carlisle midfielder Russell Penn, are at home to Championship side Reading.
Yeovil Town will host Bournemouth after knocking out Stevenage, while Barrow wil go to Barnsley if they can overcome Ipswich Town in a replay.
Holders Leicester City face Watford, managed by their former boss Claudio Ranieri, while Manchester United are at home to Steven Gerrard's Aston Villa.
Ex-Blues man Harry McKirdy, meanwhile, can have a crack at the Premier League champions with Swindon Town drawn at home to Manchester City.
