Carlisle United fans gave us their verdict on Twitter after the Blues' five-game unbeaten run came to an end at the hands of League Two leaders Forest Green Rovers.
Here is a selection of their views on the 3-0 defeat.
Without a doubt today was a free hit, but we made it easy for them. The space given to the two best wing-backs in the league was simply criminal, add to that a centre-forward who can hold the ball, win flick-ons and score goals and we were in trouble, beaten well on the day (@matty017)
Outplayed by a better team, they showed why they are top of the league, simple as that. To stay in this league will be an achievement (@peterjo91525330)
I'd say the midfield would be better if it was made up of Riley, Whelan and Guy, especially in a game against the top team. Mellish runs all day but lacks the skills we need to make play from midfield through to the forwards. Not sure how much Gibson is doing his own thing either. Mellish has had a good run, time for a rethink (@LindaNi121202)
We need a playmaker in midfield and a experienced centre-forward (@stansanczuk)
Need to tighten that midfield up...I really like Mellish but that's not his position, how many points have we won with him there? Get Riley in, him and Guy were brilliant in there early last season and release Mellish to get involved higher up, that he does so well (@peterbell83)
FGR played some great football. Carlisle looked tidy in parts, Mellish stood out in second half, lots to build on (@CallumJCIrving)
We’ll be safe. No need to rip up the team based on one bad performance. I’d prefer Mellish higher up the pitch, preferably with Patrick. Play Dickenson on the left and Gibson on the right. Guy and Riley CM. (@parkinsonross)
Despite the results and obvious gulf in quality between the sides I thought first half we competed well. Thought Patrick was excellent and I know I’m gonna get some stick but Armer looks twice the player he was a few months ago. Definitely positives to take bar the result (@josephscott2005)
Let’s move on…team needs some experience and a focal point…need more characters in this side…ie Garner et al (@stuferg1990)
