Carlisle United have confirmed that striker Manasse Mampala is heading out on loan.
The Blues said the former Everton frontman is joining National League strugglers Weymouth.
United manager Keith Millen spoke about the move in a club YouTube interview late on transfer deadline day.
He confirmed the 21-year-old was joining the side sitting third bottom of non-league's top tier.
Mampala has not figured in the Blues squad recently, and his opportunities were further limited by the arrival of three new strikers on deadline day.
Millen said: "He hasn't played enough first-team games, and has to go and learn how to play week-in, week-out and show people what he can do.
"It's tough for players to train Monday to Friday and not having that reward at the end.
"It's not so much the level, it's more about him playing consistently and showing people what he can do, getting some confidence and belief, and scoring some goals."
Ex-QPR prospect Mampala joined United after a trial last summer and has made 15 first-etam appearances scoring once.
