Carlisle United will wear their away kit tonight's home game to promote a homeless charity.

The Blues are swapping their blue home strip for their black change strip for the game against Rochdale.

United had intended to do so in the original fixture on Boxing Day but that was postponed because of Covid.

They will now honour the promise in the rearranged game at Brunton Park.

Shelter's campaign is called #NoHomeKit, and have asked clubs and fans, for one game, to "ditch their home colours for their away or third kit, showing support for people who don't have a safe home".

The aim of the campaign is to raise awareness of the scale of homelessness across the country and raise funds to support Shelter's frontline services and its campaigns to end the housing emergency for good.

United say they are "proud" to support the campaign and encourage fans to take part too by wearing their away shirts to the Rochdale game.
