It was a truly memorable Carlisle United away day.
And supporters were jubilant after Paul Simpson's team grabbed an injury-time victory over rivals Oldham Athletic.
Here is a selection of the views the Blue Army gave us on Twitter after the dramatic 2-1 win at Boundary Park.
These players have been transformed from League Two players into superstars by the man with the magic wand. Just another fantastic result in a fantastic week (@LindaNi121202)
Immense performance again. (@LEEROTHERHAM)
Hard to remember a better week being a Carlisle fan. Unbelievable turnaround. (@leecrowe007)
The players to a man, stood up, battled and showed real character after going behind. First half we struggled a bit but in the second half we were excellent. Feeney again outstanding, and I thought Guy was very good today. Still work to do, but you have to enjoy days like today! (@BenJoseph0157)
We weren’t great first half. Superb save from Mark Howard for the penalty. Another top performance from him. Much better second half. Only one team looking to win it at the end. Omari a live wire. Feeney capped it off. #Believe (@MartinScarboro4)
Gave them a bit too much space in the first half and terrible time to concede. Massive improvement second half, plenty of chances and unbelievable effort and energy from the whole team. Great end to a great week. (@ticketaddict)
Didn’t play badly first half, but on balance Oldham probably just about deserved a lead. But the second half was the best half of football we’ve put together since some of the games near the end of 2020 - fantastic win, and a wonderful header to win it! (@jpastalker)
Absolutely buzzing. Quality goals from Patrick and Feeney. We deserved a couple more. Great support, great performance. (@earnThtDanegeld)
Is this really happening? Am I dreaming? Simmo has turned this team around from relegation fodder to a team with pride and passion, playing for each other and playing for us fans. We knew they weren't bad players they just weren't a team. Now they are, and it's bloody brilliant! (@cumbrianbluess)
That was just absolutely sensational. I haven’t been in an away end like that for years. What a difference Simmo has made. I love this club. (@Matt_Suddart)
We have won three games of football in a row, consecutive victories were a foreign concept to me until last week. (@_olicaig)
Last minute winner in front of away fans . Doesn’t get better (@fatflags)
My pie ended up on the pitch and I was fairly enjoying it tbh, not happy. Simmo out! (@AidanBaxter91)
11/10 turbo limbs, new Feeney contract ASAP (@NavyDave94)
Blooming brilliant if a bit tense (@Paddockgirlie)
That’s why we go to the games. Lots of disappointments but then you get results like today (@hatkinson5527)
A team transformed. Great performance and a deserved win. Some great moments, not least the penalty save, cool finish from Patrick and a final flourish from Feeney. (@tim_martland)
Patrick was a great outlet all game and finished his goal brilliantly. Howard was superb and Feeney and Mellish missed nothing. Not everyday you get to watch a 94th minute winner in front of 1,300 Cumbrians.. quality #Feeney Feeney Feeney (@Wisey6575)
Character to keep going to the end. Bedlam ensued (@MartinCrellin1)
What a game!!! Admire the team's determination to win that game. It was an absolute joy to watch. (@tracy_sturgess)
I’ve absolutely lost the plot and nearly cried, up the Blues. (@benchxmbo)
Massive win, feared the worst after the Swindon game. Simpson has brought the club together, onto the next one. (@matthew_2693)
If Simmo wasn't already married, I'd try my luck....... (@markjlace)
Simpson taking us to the Champions League (@louisirons_)
Massive result. Well deserved. Fought to the very end. A true six-pointer. (@NotInSeddon)
Some days, all the hurt, all the pain, all the stress of being a lifelong Carlisle fan repay you. I've been lucky to have had a few of those over the years. This felt like another one. (@JHallHDI)
Feeney needs a statue. (@mattm_57)
WOW...What a performance 👍🏾💙Blue Army (@deanosprosoccer)
