Carlisle United loanee Taylor Charters was on the scoresheet as he helped Gateshead to another emphatic win.

The west Cumbrian fired home the north east side's fourth goal as they thrashed Kidderminster Harriers.

It was Charters' second goal since joining the National League North leaders on loan.

The 20-year-old impressed in a left-back role, and his second-half goal (BELOW) capped his return to the starting line-up as Mike Williamson's men overwhelmed FA Cup heroes Kiddy, managed by ex-Blues midfielder Russell Penn.

Charters also had another ex-United team-mate in the form of Middlesbrough midfielder Connor Malley, who was on loan at Carlisle last season.

He has joined Heed on loan and made his debut as a sub in a side that also included former United players Cedwyn Scott and Adam Campbell.

Charters, who is on loan at the international stadium until the end of the season, played the full 90 minutes with Gateshead now six points clear at the top of the table.

In the National League, meanwhile, United loan frontman Tristan Abrahams helped Grimsby Town to a dramatic victory.

He laid on a 95th-minute winner for Mani Dieseruvwe as Paul Hurst's eighth-placed Mariners beat Woking 1-0 at Blundell Park.

It was an eighth Grimsby appearance for Abrahams in a loan which runs until the end of the season and he earned praise for his performance.

A third Blues player out on loan, striker Manasse Mampala, started for Weymouth as they went down 2-0 at home to FC Halifax Town.

Mampala was recalled to the line-up by boss David Oldfield but was replaced in the 81st minute.

It was a fifth appearance without scoring for 21-year-old Mampala at the third-bottom Terras.
