Carlisle United fans gave us their views on Twitter after the 1-0 defeat to Exeter City.
Here is a selection:
A below par performance. Exeter were very good, but we never really looked threatening. We need to be looking to next season and a more stable club would have Simmo signed and planning recruitment. Unfortunately that's not Carlisle. Another summer of upheaval beckons. (@BruceVander)
Never got going, we didn't do badly. We didn't take the game to them. Too many off days. It's a kick up the backside. (@LEEROTHERHAM)
Second to everything and got exactly what we deserved, only surprise was it took them so long to get the goal. Too many either not good enough or not at the races, still a long way to go if we are to be challenging for anything other than relegation again next season. (@Halpinforpope)
Actually did well to hold them off for 88 mins and almost get the draw. Under Millen we'd have lost 0-6. Thought Jordan Gibson stood out today, have a feeling scouts will be watching him very closely. (@mtuj1974)

Fighting fires all afternoon. Feeling lucky it was still 0-0 with five to go til disaster struck. Today was as poor as we've seen under Simmo. No creativity in midfield, too many long balls and other misplaced passes and nobody showing for throw-ins or free-kicks. Missing Guy and Devitt. Hope Simmo isnt trying to keep players happy by shuffling the pack! Changing the back line has upset the applecart in my opinion, and dropping Riley hasn't improved the midfield at all. Team looked tired, no threat going forward and wasteful. Midfield needs to be pressing higher, Exeter got every second ball. Hoping for better Friday (@temps_1)
Better side won. We weren’t at it and didn’t deserve anything really. Mellish needs to be back in defence. Really missing Guy and Devitt in midfield (@parkinsonross)
Poor performance today, better team won, please play Mellish back in defence. Missing Guy and Devitt in midfield. MOTM Howard (@tracy_sturgess)
Exeter deserved the points, disappointing to concede in the last minute, although we can’t complain about those type of scenarios. Effort and commitment was there but the final third contribution was poor today. (@dubhead77)
No complaints, the better side on the day won. Exeter very decent and the standard of side we should be aiming to be and, if Simmo stays next season, I’m confident we can be just that. Just wasn’t the Blues' day today, no dramas. Onto the next one (@AdWhitfield94)
On the whole I thought today's performance was way below par. OK, they were a very good team but our passing ad giving our lads up front any service was poor. Saw corner but never really saw goal clearly. One good thing is saves United a long journey next season if Exeter go up. (@EricGreen866)
To everyone saying how good Exeter were!! Seriously we tried to defend for 90 mins and made them look half good, they could pass but we didn't challenge. The standard of League Two football is rubbish; whoever goes up will need to spend big or will be right back down. (@Paul83719268)
Exeter are the yardstick for next season. I would have taken a point at the start so a little disappointed getting nil at the end. Too many stray passes, midfield was poor and that put us under pressure. It could be worse we could be Barrow... (@Alan69333548)
