WORKINGTON Town forward Hanley Dawson will leave the club, after he has decided to return to the community game.
Hanley , who joined the club from amateur side Millom ARLFC has been at the club since 2019.
A spokesman for Workington Town RLFC said: "Hanley Dawson has made the decision to return to the community game and to concentrate on things outside of professional rugby league. We’d like to thank Hanley for his brilliant service to Town over the last couple of seasons.
"Hanley was a model and dedicated professional who was a pleasure to have at the club. He is already missed but is always welcome back to Derwent Park at any time. Best of luck marra."
The forward took to social media to thank the club for his time, saying that he will 'never forget the memories'.
