Dynel Simeu has paid a warm tribute to Carlisle United and their fans as he departs Brunton Park.
The Southampton defender proved one of United's most popular loan players in recent memory during his half-season in Cumbria.
Simeu, 19, was an engaging presence both on and off the field, and developed a strong bond with Carlisle's fanbase.
And the young Premier League prospect has signed off with a sincere message of thanks on social media.
Thank you to the fans, players and staff associated with @officialcufc!

I was here for a short time but enjoyed every moment. Thank you for allowing me to be part of your club! You’ve helped me develop on and off the pitch

Simeu accompanied his message with a video of him in action during his time with the Cumbrians.
The loan player, who joined United in January, recovered from a shaky start in a Carlisle shirt to produce a string of excellent defensive performances.
He also became known for his iconic celebrations in front of United's supporters.
And Simeu also attracted praise for his willingness to get involved in the community, agreeing to give a speech at a school at short notice and visiting fans to hand over memorabilia.
He made 18 appearances, playing a key part in Carlisle's League Two survival under Paul Simpson after the departure of the manager who brought him in, Keith Millen.
With many fans hoping United could bring Simeu back for a further loan in 2022/23, Blues boss Simpson has said he plans to have further conversations with Southampton.
But the Carlisle chief also believes the Saints will want to loan the promising defender to a higher level next season.
