Paul Simpson says he wants more signings in at Carlisle United soon.
The Blues have already made their first summer addition in the shape of Annan Athletic midfielder Owen Moxon.
And manager Simpson is eager for more business at Brunton Park.
United want to strengthen in a host of positions and Simpson would like as much of his squad in place for the return to pre-season training.
That date – June 22 – is already less than a month away.
And, speaking in a club interview conducted last week, Simpson said: “I want things done, I want players in.
“I want to know where they are going.
“I go away on holiday in a week or two, and I would like some more done by then.”
Simpson, though, added that there were no promises on the speed of United’s next signings.
“I can’t make any guarantees because I really don’t know,” he said.
“These things just evolve, sometimes slowly or quickly.”
Simpson has praised the early work conducted by head of recruitment Greg Abbott as United set about rebuilding their squad.
He added: “There’s lots of work going on.
“There are others we’re working to try and secure.”
United are also awaiting decisions on the contract offers they made to Taylor Charters, Brennan Dickenson and Magnus Norman.
