Hartlepool United have declared their interest in Carlisle United-linked winger Josh McPake - according to reports.
The Rangers youngster is set for a loan move away from Ibrox this summer, and Football Insider have claimed that the Cumbrians are one of a host of clubs keen on securing his services.
Crewe Alexandra, Stockport County and Crawley Town have also been credited with an interest in the 20-year-old - who spent time on loan with Morecambe and Tranmere Rovers last season.
And now the Northern Echo report that Hartlepool have made their interest in the wideman known to his parent club.
Pools, who recently appointed Paul Hartley as their new manager, could look to target the Scottish market this summer given the 45-year-old's extensive contacts north of the border.

Elsehwere, former Blue Zach Clough has penned a new two-year contract with Australian side Adelaide United.
The former Bolton man, 27, departed Brunton Park in January after an underwhelming start to the start.
He subsequently made the move to the A-League and racked up 13 appearances for his new club, and impressed sufficiently to earn a new deal.
Speaking after signing his contract, Clough said: "I’m very happy to have signed a new contract with Adelaide United, knowing I’ll remain a Red for the next two years.
“From the moment I arrived in Adelaide, I’ve felt welcomed and at home within the squad and the city.
“The project we’re building with Carl (Veart) is very promising and something I’m excited to be a part of.
“I know the rest of the boys and I were all gutted to have missed out on making the Grand Final last season, but I’m confident that disappointment will fuel our desire to go further next season.”
