Former Carlisle United goalkeeper Magnus Norman has joined relegated Oldham Athletic.
The former Blues No1, who turned down the chance to stay at Brunton Park, has now linked up with John Sheridan's Latics.
He has signed a one-year deal at Boundary Park as Oldham prepare for life in the National League.
It came after the end of Norman's two-year spell at Carlisle.
Sheridan, Oldham's former United boss, told the club website: “Magnus is a very good goalkeeper who will make sure we have competition in that position this season.
“He has impressed when playing for Carlisle, he is a mature goalkeeper and has a good amount of experience at a number of levels.
“He’s got a great stature, is a very commanding presence and I believe we will see him do well in an Oldham shirt.”
Ex-Rochdale and Fulham keeper Norman made 16 appearances for the Cumbrians.
