It was a good way to start the season - and the Blue Army certainly approved.
A 6,403 opening-day crowd watched Carlisle United get their 2022/23 campaign off on the right foot.
They gave the team a good welcome before the 1-0 win over Crawley Town - and then saluted Paul Simpson's players after the victory, as our videos below show...
