In-form Kristian Dennis has a remarkable 60-YEAR feat in his sights for Carlisle United.
The striker has scored in each of the Blues’ first three games of the season.
And if he gets on the scoresheet against Swindon Town on Saturday, he will emulate a feat that has not been achieved since 1962.
The last Blues player to score in the first four games of a campaign was Scottish forward Billy Stark.
He hit consecutive goals against Peterborough United, Queens Park Rangers, Peterborough again and Hull City at the start of United's first season in Division Three in 1962/3.

Dennis is three-quarters of the way there after finding the net for Paul Simpson’s side against Crawley Town, Colchester United and Shrewsbury Town.
The first two came in Carlisle’s opening league games with the 32-year-old's latest coming in the Carabao Cup.
Dennis has already become the first Blues striker to score in a campaign’s first three matches since Jabo Ibehre in 2015.
The popular Londoner notched against Mansfield Town, Chesterfield and Cambridge United in League Two and the League Cup that year.
Another feature of Dennis’ goals so far in 2022/23 is that each has been set up by Owen Moxon.

The Carlisle-born summer signing from Annan Athletic saw a ricochet fall into Dennis’ path against Crawley – before supplying a pinpoint cross at Colchester and a perfectly-played ball at Shrewsbury.
Manager Simpson said: “Mox has got a great delivery and there’s good awareness as well. To be able to execute it is really good.
“Denno makes the runs, and it’s a great ball for him to get onto [at Shrewsbury].
“The first touch was really good and it’s a lovely finish.
"Denno is flying at the moment. He’s getting goals for us, and hopefully he carries on.”
Glasgow-born Billy Stark played for United from 1961-2 in a career which also included spells with Rangers, Crewe Alexandra, Colchester United, Luton Town, Chesterfield and Newport County.
He played in the same side as Blues legends such as Joe Dean, Hugh Neil and Ron 'Ginger' Thompson.
