Former Carlisle United defender Christie Elliott has announced his retirement from football at 31.
The right-back, who played for the club in the 2019/20 season, says he wants to do "something different".
Elliott, who was most recently with Scottish side Dundee, confirmed his decision on Instagram.
He said: "After 12 years I have decided to retire from professional football.

"I am forever grateful to have been able to do this as a career for so long but now it’s time for something different.
"Massive thanks to my agent @macgregorgary @14sportsmanagement, I appreciate everything you have done for me.
"To the fans that have supported me throughout my football career you will not be forgotten.
"To my team-mates and coaches along the way, thanks for all the amazing memories! "Lastly to my family and friends who forever continue to support me."
Former Blues team-mates including Jarrad Branthwaite and Olufela Olomola were among those wishing Elliott well.
The north east native joined the Blues in the summer of 2019 under Steven Pressley after a long stay with Patrick Thistle, whom he had joined following non-league spells with Jarrow and Whitley Bay.
He made 22 appearances for the Cumbrians and scored one goal, in a 4-2 home defeat to Crewe Alexandra.
Elliott was allowed to leave on a free midway through the season by Pressley's successor Chris Beech, and he spent two-and-a-half seasons with Dundee, making 56 appearances.
