Jarrad Branthwaite has spoken of his Champions League dream as he prepares for tomorrow's showdown with Rangers.
The Cumbrian defender is set to be in the PSV Eindhoven squad for their play-off second leg with the Glasgow outfit.
The tie is level at 2-2 after the first leg at Ibrox, where Branthwaite came on as an extra-time substitute.
And former Carlisle United star Branthwaite, from Wigton, expects a noisy atmosphere in the Netherlands.
"Playing the Champions League would be a dream, because it is a privilege for every footballer," said the 20-year-old, speaking in Eindhovens Dagblad.
"Of course you feel a little extra pressure when you have to fill in in such a match [as the first leg], but that also makes you stronger.
"That match against Rangers this week was great in terms of atmosphere and I expect at least the same atmosphere in Eindhoven."
A place in the Champions League group stage is at stake tomorrow.
Branthwaite is on a season-long loan with Eredivisie side PSV.
He is awaiting his first start for Ruud Van Nistelrooy's side.
"So far, I have had to be content with a place on the bench, but I know I have to be patient and my chance will come," added the Cumbrian.
"I moved here because I think I will get more game time at PSV than I would have got at Everton. At my age, I want to play as often as possible."
Branthwaite says the atmosphere at the club in Eindhoven has also impressed him.
"This week we trained once with supporters and I've never seen that," he said.
"At Everton, everything was always shielded and it was not allowed for fans to enter the training complex.
"I thought it was very special at PSV, because you see that the supporters come out en masse and that many children enjoyed the training."
Branthwaite and PSV will hope to get the better of a Rangers side including ex-Carlisle loan players Tom Lawrence and James Tavernier tomorrow.
