Carlisle United fans gave us their views on Twitter after the 1-0 victory over Gillingham.
Here is a selection.
Poor, scrappy game, but a win is a win! Defensively solid, and great to get Huntington a start, and Feeney back fit. (@RyCUFC)
First half a bit of a non-event, Gillingham playing six at the back and us struggling to string passes together. First 20 of second half saw some real drive, best bit of play all game earned the goal. Huntington and Mellish outstanding - how good to see Jon in natural role (@matty017)
Didn’t look great but restricted them to one chance. Mellish excellent. Armer looks tired now but he’s probably ran further than anyone this season. Fin Back MOTM for me. Excellent in the air. We’ll do well to keep him all season. (@parkinsonross)
Not the greatest match to watch, the full team battled hard. Mellish was outstanding again today and battled for the goal. (@Philbell719Phil)
Scrappy game, scrappy goal - but a brilliant result, which is all that matters at the moment. Never felt in danger of conceding, defence were all excellent as a unit. Slowly getting players back, and no real damage been done in the time we’ve been without them. (@jpastalker)
Poor performance but good result, good teams win games like that and we did just about enough (@Matthewgaskell9)
Wasn’t a classic, but three points and a clean sheet is all that matters. Good home debut by Huntington, and Moxon and Feeney back on the pitch - things are looking okay (@jonnyraffles78)
Three points, clean sheet so can’t complain. Poor game to watch but lots of positives especially how commanding Huntington was and great to see Feeney back. (@Nick_Brown86)
A bit of huff and puff and grinding out a win. Needed the midfield moving quicker and we didn't pick up the second balls. But I think we deserved the win - a win is a win. (@LEEROTHERHAM)
A poor drab game, but three points is all that matters. Gillingham had a lot of possession, but I thought we were always likely to win the game. Huntington had an excellent game considering his lack of game time this last 18 months. (@RonnieSmith1964)
Think both teams cancelled each other out! Take the three points and move on! We miss Edmondson massively though! Gibson best player for us in my eyes (@dixon221087)
Scrappy game, second half much better than the first. But at the end of the day I’ll take a game like this every week if the end result is three points (@tracy_sturgess)
We weren't great but they were really poor. Got the goal and saw it out and got the three points. Happy days (@Tommo22753)
Hard-earned win. Man of the match for me was Jon Mellish again. Shame Dennis didn’t get that goal. Officials again were a disgrace. We didn’t create much but thought attitude in the second half is what we needed. Onwards and upwards (@ericgreen866)
Good result and a clean sheet, determined performance maintains a positive start to the season. Had we not won you suspect there would have been some grumbling. (@mlgraham73)
Great day for football. Some did break out at times but not enough for my liking. The Gills were a battling side determined to get something. Luckily for us they didn't and an odd goal settled what was a difficult watch, especially, as said, in the first half. Three points is three points (@LindaNi121202)
One I'll forget in a hurry, slow game, neither team really looked up for it bar our 20 minute high energy spell - take the points and onto next week. (@_olicaig)
It wasn’t pretty and we struggled first half. Second half was better and fair play to the lads they hung on for the win. Thought Huntington looked good and made a couple of good interceptions. (@beetler43)
Balance not right up top. They both need a target man so we couldn’t hold it up in the final third. Found a win somehow which is encouraging (@paulmason2000)
Not convinced really, they there the better team for 60-80min but we just played like prime Barca for 20min and got the goal and that’s what matters (@JohnRoutledge11)
Not a spectacle, but three points was the prize, If we can grind out results when not at our best and with players out through injury, then I will be very happy. (@peterjo91525330)
Three points. Happy (@Northernmunkey)

It’s that simple, Jon. pic.twitter.com/IKWMyku0rz
