Former Carlisle United loan striker Brad Young has made a transfer deadline-day move north of the border.
The Aston Villa forward has joined Ayr United on a season-long loan deal.
It means Young, 19, will spend the rest of the campaign in the Scottish Championship.

Young made 20 appearances and scored three goals for Carlisle under Chris Beech and Keith Millen last term.
Now, after Villa boss Steven Gerrard allowed the former youth team star out for a second loan spell, his team-mates at Somerset Park will include another ex-Blues loan man in defender Sean McGinty.
