There were decidedly mixed fortunes for Carlisle United's young loan players in their clubs' latest outings.
Defender Max Kilsby had a successful weekend for Annan Athletic - but there were heavy defeats for Sam Fishburn and Lewis Bell with Blyth Spartans and Gretna 2008 respectively.
Kilsby kept his place in Peter Murphy's Annan defence, and the 18-year-old played his part in a welcome comeback victory for the Scottish League Two side at Galabank.
He played the full 90 minutes as visitors Forfar Athletic took the lead through Matthew Aitken's header just before half-time.

Tommy Goss's quickfire second-half doubled then turned things around for Annan, who moved up to sixth in the table.
It was United first-year pro Kilsby's fourth consecutive start for Murphy's side.
In National League North, meanwhile, Fishburn was an unused substitute as Blyth went down to a 4-0 defeat at Peterborough Sports.
Manager Graham Fenton did not call on the tenage Blues striker despite the hosts racing into a 2-0 half-time lead, adding two more after the break.
Fishburn is awaiting his first goal for the north east outfit, who sit 18th in National League North.
Winger Bell, meanwhile, got his latest start for Gretna as they suffered the defeat that spelled the end for their manager.
A 3-0 loss at Cowdenbeath was followed by the resignation of manager Stephen Hatfield.
The Raydale Park club sit second bottom of the Lowland League with seven defeats from eight.
