Aspatria’s in-form bowlers continued their impressive summer by progressing to the quarter-finals of the men’s Top Club competition.
They won a tight encounter with Newark Northern to reach the finals weekend at Leamington Spa.
The Cumbrians will take on Boscombe Cliff on September 17 as they aim for further national glory.
It comes after brothers Mark and Stuart Irwin plus Kevin Harrison claimed the men’s triples title at the recent national championships.
Mark Irwin, meanwhile, is today competing in the national singles at Leamington.
