Dean Henderson is back with the England squad for the first time in more than a year.
The Cumbrian goalkeeper is training with Gareth Southgate's squad ahead of a Nations League double-header.
England take on Italy in Milan tomorrow night before facing Germany at Wembley next Monday.
Henderson, from Whitehaven. is competing with fellow keepers Aaron Ramsdale and Nick Pope for a place in the side.
The 25-year-old, who is on loan with Nottingham Forest from Manchester United, was put through his paces at St George's Park this morning.
They face the European champions Italy in the San Siro tomorrow.
Henderson was recalled by Southgate after an injury to Jordan Pickford.
It is the first time he has been in the national team's squad since Euro 2020.
Another Cumbrian keeper is hoping for international outings too.
James Trafford is in the Under-21 squad for games against Italy, tonight, and Germany, next Tuesday.
Manchester City's Bolton Wanderers loan keeper Trafford, from Greysouthen, already has one Under-21 cap to his name.
Updated: The 19-year-old Trafford has been named on the bench for the Under-21 clash with Italy.
