Carlisle United fans gave us their views on Twitter after the 1-1 draw at Newport County.
Here is a selection of their opinions.
A good point overall. We started poorly and lacked energy and urgency. They were there for the taking, lacking confidence and we failed to capitalise before conceding a poor goal. Changes from Simmo changed the game and we finished really strong. (@BenJoseph0157)
Good first half, should have been ahead or level. Started second half poorly and took a while to get going. Two points dropped but happy with one after being a goal down. Did well to fight back and should have won it at the end. Doing well to collect points with so many injuries. (@fish_blues)
Not great, injuries continue to dog us, but to be fair after the equaliser we were the only team showing some urgency. It was embarrassing to watch their time-wasting. One defeat only in the league is the positive (@keithelliott94)
Watched on iFollow from Milan. Deserved a point but didn’t create anything meaningful. Relied on set-pieces to create opportunities, sloppy in possession from open play. We’re a tough side to beat but lacking that bit of spark/quality to make us dangerous the other end. (@J_Walton)
Mixed feelings..always a good point at Newport. Heads didn't go down after going a goal down and battled well. But for a little more composure and better decision making in the final third could have been three. Main positive is Simmo is making us difficult to beat! (@CowellLes1975)
4-3-3 could be the way forward. Teams seem to have our 3-5-2 relatively sussed, and can't seem to cope with us when we go 4-3-3. (@cufcmike)
Agree with Mike, we look more a threat playing 4-3-3 - should try this at Grimsby on Tuesday (@GeoffRo39583097)
There was only one team who wanted to win this, but, as ever, our finishing let us down. Newport were hoping for a smash and grab and nearly succeeded. But the big plus for United was their spirit not to be beaten. Big pluses today were the performances of Hilton and Whelan. (@BruceVander)
Sonny Hilton has to be given his chance, came on and was the only one trying to create chances. Gibson was poor today. Would have taken a point before the game (@paulhayton9989)
The referee was terrible as were the assistants. Newport were there for the taking with more pressure applied but we didn't. Gibson needlessly booked and needs to be calmer. Stretton a poor target man. Newport No5 was in a very bad way and allowed to carry on - needs looking at. (@krisfoster)
Deserved a point, could have been three but Newport would have felt hard done by if we had won. A draw was probably fair (@frostie_)
Two points dropped (@hatkinson5527)
Huntington is quite good isn't he (@IvanNewsome)
Another sloppy defensive goal, on chances missed we would be top of the league!! (@PaulMar21281685)
Always take a point on the road...End of (@cufccraig1983)
