SCOTLAND have announced their squad for the forthcoming Rugby League World Cup - and there is one of Cumbria's own in the line-up.
Cumbria's Guy Graham, who plays for Whitehaven RLFC, has been announced in the line-up ahead of the games due to kick-off in a couple of weeks.
The Scotland National team are set to open up their campaign against Italy on October 16 at Newcastle, with tough games set to follow as they take on the reigning champions Australia and Fiji to fight for a top spot top of Group B's table.
Guy first came to Whitehaven RL in 2020, with limited rugby league experience but bringing a wealth from the rugby unions Newcastle Falcons, ultimately earning him his national call-up.

Scotland coach, Nathan Graham, will bring with him a 24-man squad, which consists of six super-league players but also five will be joining from Australia as they look to make their mark on the campaign.
Whitehaven RL came to social media to congratulate the player on his national call-up.
