Paul Simpson says there is much more to come from Owen Moxon after the Carlisle-born midfielder’s latest starring display for the Blues.
The Denton Holme midfielder further underlined his progress with a goal during a superb showing in the 3-1 win at Hartlepool United.
It sees Moxon continue his impressive start to professional life after rejoining his boyhood club from Annan Athletic in the summer – and quitting his job as a delivery driver in the process.

Travelling fans sang the 24-year-old’s name at Victoria Park – and manager Simpson feels he can make more steps forward.
“I think you can see what it means to him – he’s playing and enjoying his football, and that’s what he wants to do,” said United’s manager.
“He’s a real, good, honest lad in the way he goes about it.
“It’s a massive change for him coming from being a DPD delivery driver to playing full-time football and getting stuck into it.
“He lives his life properly, he’s in really good shape, and he’ll get better and better hopefully.”
Moxon’s second-half strike was his second for the Cumbrians, the midfielder having opened his account at Grimsby Town last month.
Simpson says the Carlisle-born star is putting pressure on himself to deliver for his home-city club.
“I think he’s had a couple of weeks where he’s looked as if he’s just testing himself a little bit, he’s maybe trying a little bit too hard, but [against Hartlepool] him and Callum Guy in midfield were outstanding – and I’m really pleased for him,” the Blues boss said.
