Former Carlisle United defender Mark Ellis has rejoined one of his former clubs in the National League.
The experienced centre-half has left Barrow to join Torquay United on a month's loan.
Ellis, 34, has been out of favour at the south Cumbrian club under Pete Wild this season.
He now rejoins the Gulls, for whom he played from 2007-12, in search of first-team football, handed an immediate outing against Notts County today.
Ellis has not featured for Barrow's first team this season, and this is a second loan move during his time at Holker Street, having been with Solihull Moors last season.
The defender made 74 appearances for Carlisle from 2015-18, and has been with Barrow sine the summer of 2021.
