The manager of Carlisle United's League Two rivals Crewe Alexandra has stepped down for compassionate reasons.
Alex Morris will revert to being first team assistant manager after the decision was announced.
Morris, 39, has been in charge of the Railwaymen since April.
But his assistant Lee Bell will now take charge on an interim basis.
Crewe made the announcement in a short statement and no further details have been given.
"The club wishes to announce that Alex Morris will be stepping down as first team manager and will become first team assistant manager," the club said.
"This move has been requested by Alex, after weeks of deliberation, for compassionate reasons.
"The club has appointed Lee Bell as first team interim Manager with immediate effect."
Crewe, who drew 0-0 with Carlisle at Brunton Park last month, are 16th in League Two.
