Carlisle United have announced the departure of their first-team physio Ross Goodwin.
He is set to leave Brunton Park to join a club in Scotland.
Former Annan Athletic, Queen of the South and Kilmanock man Goodwin had been with the Blues for just over two years.
He joined Carlisle to replace long-serving Neil 'Dolly' Dalton but the Blues are now looking for a new head physio.
United boss Paul Simpson said he was "gutted" that Goodwin was moving on.
"It’s been brilliant working with Ross, he’s excellent at his job, and I’m gutted that he’s moving on," Simpson told the club website.
“We did what we could to keep him but the offer he’s received from north of the border is too good for him to turn down.
“As much as I tried to keep him, he has to do what he feels is right for him and his family, and I wish him well with what he’s going on to do next.
“Ross will now serve his notice period and an advert will go out to find a replacement as soon as possible for what is obviously a very important position.”
Goodwin joined United in the summer of 2020 after a spell with Kilmarnock.
That followed the departure of the legendary Dalton, who had been the club's main physio from 1997.
