Carlisle United will hold a lunchtime pitch inspection ahead of this weekend's clash with Barrow AFC.
This Blues this morning confirmed that the match referee, Andrew Kitchen, will visit Brunton Park today.
It follows continued low temperatures.
United yesterday said their frost covers, which have been on the pitch all week, were currently "winning 1-0".
It now remains to be seen whether the surface has survived another sub-zero night, with temperatures dropping to -6 again in Carlisle.
