CUMBRIAN goalkeeper Dean Henderson was involved in an error made by VAR this season, according to the Key Match Incident panel.
The panel was set up in summer 2022 to independently review refereeing decisions.
This panel is made of of three former players, a Premier League representative and a official from Professional Game Match Officials Limited (PGMOL).
According to ESPN, this panel has confirmed that from the 48 VAR interventions that have been made so far in the 2022/23 Premier League season, six were erroneous.
These reportedly include the disallowing of Gabriel Martinelli's opener against Manchester United in September, for a foul on Christian Eriksen in the build-up to the goal and the disallowing of Maxwel Cornet's last-minute equaliser for West Ham when they faced Chelsea in September.
It is also reported that Nottingham Forest's Cumbrian shot-stopper Dean Henderson was also at centre of an 'incorrect' VAR decision.
The Whitehaven-born keeper was penalised for bringing down Brentford's Yoanne Wissa whilst his side lead 1-0.
Bryan Mbuemo converted the resulting spot-kick in a game that finished 2-2 between the two sides.
